SAGT Grant Program:

Each year, SAGT provides grants to selected CISD teachers to support innovative and creative instructional approaches and activities that enhance student learning in GT classrooms at all grade levels.  

SAGT grant funds may be used for the following:

• Student enrichment activities and resources

• Classroom and maker-space equipment and technology needs

• Teacher training and professional development

• New instructional approaches or curriculum

Eligibility & Requirements:

• Quest and GT teachers at all grade levels are eligible to apply.

• The teacher must be a current SAGT Member. A complimentary teacher membership is available. Sign up here.

• Only CISD approved vendors may be included in the project.

• Applications for SAGT Teacher Grant requests will open Friday, September 19, 2025

• The grant application will close on Friday, October 3, 2025 at midnight

• Incomplete applications or those received after the deadline of October 3, 2025, will not be considered.​

• All teacher training and professional development requests must be approved by the campus principal prior to applying for the SAGT grant.

• Any items that require additional district approval, and may arrive late in the year, will not be considered. Requested items for consideration should be items that students will benefit from for the current school year.

Awards:

• Applicants will receive notification by Friday, October 17, 2025.

• SAGT will work closely with CISD to process all awards in a timely fashion.
