• Parents of CISD children enrolled in Quest, pre-AP, GT, AP and Honors courses.

• Parents seeking to be informed of ongoing changes to the GT curriculum in CISD.

• Parents interested in programs designed to help raise talented & high achieving children.

What does SAGT provide parent members?

• Notifications for upcoming programs and events.

• Free registration for parent programs, including seminars on navigating the CISD academic planning guide and the college application process and lectures on raising gifted & talented children from nationally-recognized, invited speakers.

• Opportunities to network with parents and teachers of academically gifted students.

• Complimentary membership to TAGT as an Affiliated Parent Member

How does SAGT support Quest / GT students?

• SAGT supplements CISD Quest/GT program funding by fulfilling teacher requests which directly benefits students at all campuses.

• SAGT provides access to student programs that allow socializing in a fun, educational atmosphere.

• SAGT supports CISD GT teachers seeking additional training to support gifted students better. 

• SAGT Carroll Senior High School graduating seniors are eligible to apply for the Senior Scholarship Award.
