Every year, SAGT offers a $1500 scholarship to a Carroll graduating senior.
Through membership dues and donations, SAGT is able to offer a $1500 scholarship to one Carroll High School Senior. The senior selected is one we believe has developed his or her special gift, and through leadership and community service, used that gift to positively impact the community or world.

SAGT is proud to present the $1500 2026 SAGT Scholarship to Carroll Senior High School senior Dylan Mehta.
The SAGT Scholarship recognizes students who use their talents, leadership, and service to positively impact their communities and the world. As standout scholar in Carroll’s rigorous Medical Academy, Dylan has excelled academically in more than 14 AP and advanced courses. Beyond the classroom, he has distinguished himself through leadership in DECA, BPA, and as president of the Young Men’s Service League in Southlake.
Dylan’s passion for service is deeply personal. After watching his younger brother battle childhood brain cancer, he and his family found hope and healing through Camp Sunshine, a retreat for families affected by cancer. Inspired by the camp volunteers who supported his family, Dylan returned as a volunteer himself, dedicating more than 100 hours to mentoring and encouraging children facing similar challenges. Through compassion, empathy, and genuine connection, he has become a source of joy and strength for others.
Whether through music, medicine, business, or service, Dylan exemplifies integrity, kindness, and leadership, making him exceptionally deserving of this honor. Dylan will be attending Texas A&M University this fall and will be studying in the Honors Business program.
Congratulations Dylan!
