SAGT Hosts Camp Invention!
Camp Invention is a STEAM-focused summer camp for rising 1st - 6th graders. Directed by Rockenbaugh Elementary GT specialist Cindy Kennemer, the curriculum is robust, hands-on and designed to spark creativity and build confidence as campers bring their ideas to life. CISD students love this camp!
Carroll ISD is running two weeks of camp, so don't forget to sign up for the second week running Illuminate as well. When you do, you'll receive an exclusive $60 discount off the 2nd week! To register for both, just complete your order for the first week and you'll receive a unique link on your Confirmation Email to add the 2nd week. A $60 discount will then auto-apply for you at checkout!
Leadership Opportunities for Grades 7 - 12

The Leaders-in-Training program for grades 7 - 9 is an exciting opportunity for middle schoolers to participate in Camp Invention! You can register your student for the Leaders-in-Training Program at a reduced price for both weeks.
The Leadership Intern opportunity for grades 10 - 12 is the ultimate college application or resume builder! CISD is excited to welcome intern applications for summer 2026.

MAKE WAVES
After experimenting with buoyancy and surface tension, campers generate ideas for unique, innovative products. Campers explore entrepreneurship as they design prototypes and bring their inventions to market, advertising on one-of-a-kind billboard boats!
SPACE MORPHERS
While launching their mission to locate a new planet, campers explore cutting edge space innovations. Using creativity skills, campers create a model of their newly discovered planet to support life and future exploration. Campers experiment with launch, angles and trajectory to land a space rocket and set up a space lab to record observations.
THE INFRINGERS
Campers use the superpowers of the I Can Invent Mindset! Campers discover how technology has enabled inventions to become smaller and then invent prototypes to solve challenges. While safeguarding their designs using cryptography, campers build persistence and race to file a patent to protect their inventions.
FUR-ENSICS
Campers discover how real-life crime scene investigators use forensic tools to help solve crimes! With the help of a robotic capybara sidekick, students invent a sleuthing gadget to explore the forensics behind fingerprints, DNA evidence and more.
