The mission of Southlake Association of Gifted and Talented (SAGT) is to promote and encourage advanced academics, specifically the education of gifted and talented (GT) students in the Carroll Independent School District (CISD).
SAGT GRANT PROGRAM:
Each year, SAGT provides grants to selected CISD teachers to support innovative and creative instructional approaches and activities that enhance student learning in GT classrooms at all grade levels.
SAGT grant funds may be used for the following:
Student enrichment activities and resources
Classroom technology needs
Teacher training and professional development
New instructional approaches or curriculum
ELIGIBILITY AND REQUIREMENTS:
GT teachers at all grade levels are eligible to apply.
The teacher must be a current SAGT Member. A complimentary teacher membership is available.
Only CISD approved vendors may be included in the project.

The grant application will close on Date announced soon
Incomplete applications or those received after the deadline of Date announced soon, will not be considered.
All teacher training and professional development requests must be approved by the campus principal prior to applying for the SAGT grant.
Any items that require additional district approval, and may arrive late in the year, will not be considered. Requested items for consideration should be items that students will benefit from for the current school year.

Applicants will begin receiving notification starting Date announced soon
SAGT will work closely with CISD to process all awards in a timely fashion.
